Work Done Right Shows What You Stand For

Work done right reflects character—it shows diligence, commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility. The quality of our work reveals our values, and it leaves a lasting impression on the people we serve. When we strive for excellence in every task, we not only fulfill our obligations, but we also build trust and a reputation that others can rely on. And just as honest work matters, so does eternity—salvation is the gift of God, and like any gift, it must be received, not earned. The greatest work ever finished was done by Jesus Christ on the cross. The Bible says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23) and “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23). Salvation is God’s free gift, but like any gift, it must be received—it is not earned by works. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8). “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works…” (Ephesians 2:8–9). If you will turn to Him and believe, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9) “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).
